The Vienna Volunteer Fire Department has numerous opportunities for volunteers which do not require extensive training or involve dangerous activities. The department is looking for volunteers who want to join an organization committed to serving its community. Administrative members provide invaluable support to the department through the departmental committees. Additionally, administrative members in good standing are eligible for the offices of President, Vice-President, Treasure, Secretary, Recording Secretary, and Board of Directors.

Requirements

• Attend all regular departmental meetings
• Work assigned Bingo night (currently averaging once every six weeks)
• Must volunteer 10 hours per month

Administrative members who perform 240 hours of annual service are entitled to claim a personal property tax exemption on one (1) vehicle.
