The Vienna Volunteer Fire Department is located at 400 Center Street South in Vienna, Virginia. The structure, built in 1958, has served us well throughout the years.
When the VVFD was founded in 1903, its original apparatus was stored underneath the porch of the Freeman House, located at the intersection of Church and Mill Streets NE.
After minor renovations in the late 1990s and early 2000s, the VVFD was completely renovated in 2005-2006. The much needed renovation cost $3.5 million dollars and modernized the building, including the addition of a decontamination room, a training room, a gym, and locker rooms for both male and female, career and volunteer personnel.
