We’re a group of community- and service-minded people who love the volunteer fire department and want to help it be successful. 

We…
  • Have been continuously in operation since 1927!
  • Provide financial support to the VVFD to help purchase lifesaving equipment.
  • Purchased the department's first ambulance and has continued the tradition with the purchase of Vienna's new Canteen Unit.
What do we do?
Raise funds for the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department through a variety of events:
  1. Pancake Breakfasts & Spaghetti Dinners
  2. Weekly Bingo
  3. Train Show/Bazaar/Bake Sale/Vera’s Attic
  4. VVFD Auxiliary Scholarship
  5. Special Events upon request
  • Donate our proceeds annually in the amount of $10k-15k each year to help the VVFD offset the cost of equipment, tools, or other VVFD needs.
  • Participate in the Mayor’s Holiday Reception, Santa Runs or Turkey Trot.
  • Staff or drive the VVFD Canteen unit to provide support during major events or emergencies.
What are the membership expectations?
  • Complete the on-line application process (background check required).
  • Attend monthly business meetings of the Auxiliary.
  • Prepare and sell food in the kitchen for bingo every 4-5 weeks according to your assigned bingo team schedule.
  • Participate in other events scheduled by the Auxiliary.
  • Annually, serve a minimum of 75 fundraising hours to be considered a member in good standing.
  • Complete a one-year probation before being voted into full membership.
  • Pay annual dues of $5.
