Welcome to the VVFD Fire Station 402 in Vienna, VirginiaThe Vienna Volunteer Fire Department, organized as a community focused, non-profit, volunteer organization, exists to protect and preserve the lives and property of the citizens of the Town of Vienna and Fairfax County in the event of fire, medical, and other emergencies. The VVFD works in partnership with the Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department. While the VVFD owns and maintains the station, as well as owning the equipment, Fairfax County provides 24-hour front-line staffing with paid firefighters and paramedics on three shifts. Vienna Volunteers work hand in hand with these professionals, providing supplemental staffing on the career fire engine and paramedic unit, as well as additional units such as an ambulance and engine.
Become a Volunteer. The membership of the VVFD consists of many dedicated individuals who collectively volunteer several thousand hours a year: operational, administrative, and auxiliary. See if it is the right fit for you.
