To help raise awareness about fire prevention and lithium-ion battery safety, Mayor Colbert and the Vienna Town Council proclaimed this week, Oct. 5-11, as Fire Prevention Week at tonight’s regular meeting.

The Vienna Volunteer Fire Department will host their annual Open House this Saturday, Oct. 11, from 10-4 p.m. at 400 Center St. S where community members can partake in safety workshops, live demos, and hands-on training.
