This limited-edition ornament celebrates 75 years of service for our beloved 1946 Maxim fire engine. The Model 435, affectionately known by VVFD members as "The Maxim" was ordered by VVFD in November 1945, just after the termination of WWII, and delivered on January 25, 1946. It was in service at VVFD until 1968, and then rediscovered and purchased by the VVFD Auxiliary in 1993. It has since provided countless smiles while on display at parades, birthday parties, and of course Santa Runs and now Chanukah celebrations.
To celebrate the 75th anniversary, the ornament is a special three-dimensional ornament featuring an accurate 360 view of this beautiful truck, all dress in her Santa Run best! Many of our decorations used during Santa Runs are well represented on the ornament, even Santa himself! We have even included a small nod towards our recent participation in the Menorah Lighting... can you spot it?!

- Solid brass finished in 24k gold, etched design with enamel ink screen printing
- Etching on the bottom containing the VVFD logo and "75 years of service"
- Black ribbon for hanging
- Packaged in a gold window box measuring 4.75" x 4.75" x 2.5", with the VVFD Logo printed in black foil on box top
